Ann
Browning
Ann spent
the last 12 of her 19 years with Northwestern University at
the Kellogg School of Management Career Management Center (CMC)
as an Associate Director. Her primary responsibilities included
counseling both first and second-year MBA students on a range
of career issues including: self assessment, resume and cover
letter writing, interview preparation, conducting an independent
job search, negotiations and job offer decision-making. In
addition to meeting with students on an individual basis, she
was responsible for developing and conducting career-related
workshops. Ann was also responsible for working with employers,
primarily those in the manufacturing sector. She was responsible
for advising companies on effective strategies for recruiting
on-campus. In addition, she prepared and delivered presentations
to firms on-site, and met with corporate recruiters and senior
executives on a regular basis.
Ann
was the CMC liaison to the Masters of Management and Manufacturing
program from its inception. She also directly managed operations
within the CMC office, including on-campus recruiting and
the Career Resource Center.
Since
relocating to Roswell, Georgia, Ann is continuing her work
with Kellogg as one of the school's Alumni Career Coaches.
