Since 2002, Bob has worked with the Kellogg Career Management Center (CMC) to provide career guidance to full-time, part-time, and executive MBA students as well as alumni. Bob has conducted mock interviews, reviewed resumes and cover letters, and presented workshops on all aspects of career management including self-assessment, interviewing skills, networking, and how to promote yourself within your current organization.
Previously, Bob completed his bachelor's degree in Economics from Northwestern University and spent over 11 years with Andersen Worldwide and Accenture where he focused on customer relationship and information management. During his experience in the corporate world, Bob embarked on his own career change journey, resulting in the completion of his master's degree in counseling psychology at Northwestern University with an emphasis on career psychology. Bob is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois and serves as an independent career counselor for individual private clients and contracted organizations. His professional business experience, successful execution of his own career change, and professional training as a counselor combine in a unique way enabling him to understand more fully how professional and personal influences affect career choices, success and satisfaction.
