| Registration |
| Kellogg
Alumni and Executive MBAs can begin the registration
process by entering their Kellogg Account Name (example:
jsmith1995) and password. This registration profile will
take five minutes to complete. Your profile information
and resume will be stored on the MBA Focus website. It's
important to fill out the profile as completely as possible.
Hiring managers rely upon the profile information to
search the database and identify candidates. |

| Uploading
a Resume |
| Only
resumes in Microsoft Word may be uploaded to the Resume
Database. Please limit resume length to three pages.
Most candidates can choose to upload a resume, but this
is not a requirement. There are several options: |
- Upload
a resume - Many hiring managers will search by keywords
(examples may include employers, customers, and functional
skills) and this could result in more hiring managers
viewing a candidate's profile and resume.
- Upload
a bio or profile - While less specific that a resume,
a bio can be searched by keywords as well.
- Upload
nothing - A keyword search will not be possible,
but hiring managers still may contact you based on
your experience in the profile section.

| Confidentiality |
| Kellogg
Alumni and Executive MBAs can easily post their resume
or profile in a confidential and private manner. The
strong privacy options allow candidates
to participate while remaining completely confidential
- revealing only the information candidates want corporate
recruiters to see. There are several options to maintain
confidentiality: |
- Upload
a complete resume/bio and select the confidentiality
option - Recruiters will not be able to see a candidate's
name, contact information or resume, assuring privacy.
Recruiters will only see the answers to your profile
questions and may blindly email you via the system
without knowing your email address. Even though your
name and resume would not be visible to recruiters,
your profile still could be selected through a keyword
search of your resume.
- Please
note: If you include your name on your resume your
confidentiality could be compromised if a recruiter
chooses to type your name directly into a keyword
search. If this is a concern, upload a resume without
your name. The recruiter can still send a blind email
via the system.
- Upload
a resume/bio without your name and current employer
- A keyword search would not turn up a current employer.
- Upload
nothing - Hiring managers only will see your answers
to the profile questions. They can email you via the
system without knowing your email address.
