Kellogg Alumni Council

The Kellogg Alumni Council (formerly the Kellogg Alumni Advisory Board) consists of members of Kellogg’s alumni community dedicated to helping Kellogg continue its tradition of excellence in management education. The mission of the KAC is:

  • To organize and leverage the resources and energy of Kellogg's alumni community toward the strategic priorities of the school,
  • To develop and strengthen the community of senior Kellogg alumni, and
  • Through membership in the Council, to provide key alumni with the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of Kellogg and its mission and to provide a gateway to a meaningful lifelong relationship with the school.

Members serve a three-year term on an invitation-only basis, during which they lend resources and expertise, working closely with students, senior staff and other volunteers to develop and implement programs which fulfill the strategic needs of the school, including:

  • Attracting, admitting, and enrolling the best and brightest students,
  • Supporting students’ co-curricular learning opportunities,
  • Expanding career opportunities for students and alumni,
  • Recruiting, retaining and equipping faculty to be thought leaders in their fields,
  • Strengthening ties among Kellogg’s alumni and friends, and
  • Developing a culture of philanthropy among students, alumni and other supporters
