Kellogg Guide to Practical Leadership 2006
Note from the Editors
It is with great pleasure that we present
to you the 2006 Kellogg Guide to Practical Leadership.
This year’s guide brings together a series of articles
from both Kellogg faculty members and renowned industry leaders
from across the globe. In doing so our hope is to have published
a guide that not only shares some of the leading research
findings of Kellogg academia but to also put forth the leadership
lessons and philosophies that have led to the development
of successful business leaders.
The support of our alumni and non-alumni contributors
was invaluable in putting forth our second publication. The
continued success of our initiative would also not have been
possible without the continued support of the Faculty, Alumni
Relations Director Jim Corboy, Director of Publications Thom
Duncan, Senior Associate Dean Robert Korajczyk and Assistant
Dean Richard Honack.
We hope to continue bringing you future editions
of the guide so that we can help foster all our leadership
tool kits and in turn produce better prepared and more responsible
business leaders. Please note that this publication relies
heavily on leading academia and business leaders such as yourself
and we hope that you too will help enrich future editions
by sharing insights or lessons from your experiences.
Our sincere thanks to all contributors for
their support in helping us bring you the 2006 Kellogg
Guide to Practical Leadership.
Yours sincerely,
