Kellogg Guide to Practical Leadership 2005
Note from the Editors
We hope you enjoyed reading many of the articles in the guide.
When we initiated the project, our goal was to bring together
a number of practical leadership insights that leading Kellogg
faculty had developed through their life-experience and research.
We wanted to identify and share the leadership lessons that
one cannot learn easily in business school, but might typically
be faced with during our professional careers. Our initiative
has been brought to life through the support of the Faculty,
the Business Leadership Club (BLC), Senior Associate Dean
Robert Korajczyk and Assistant Dean Richard Honack.
We hope that faculty will continue to develop and share
the latest practical leadership insights in future updates
to the guide – helping us become better leaders in industry
and society. We also welcome Kellogg Alumni and Friends to
share your insights, challenges, lessons and stories with
us to add greater richness to future editions of the guide.
Our sincere thanks to the Faculty, the BLC and the Deans
for their support in helping us bring you the Kellogg Guide
to Practical Leadership.
Yours sincerely,
